Mindfulness for Children
Little Breathers is a small company driven by a passion to make the world a more mindful place through teaching children mindfulness and meditation.
Founder of Little Breathers, Laura Evans, approached me with her new business venture in early 2019. Laura wanted to explore running mindfulness for children workshops and wanted a brand and website that would make her stand out from the crowd and catches busy parent’s attention.
From our discussions it was clear that Laura wanted a brand that stood out in the sea of pale blue and lotus themed well-being businesses. Laura wanted a brand that was inclusive and appealed to kids and their parents.
Using playful and well known icon based imagery and a rainbow palette I created a brand that was playful, bold and accessible to parents. The Logo mixes a friendly hand-drawn font with a bold type. I used a rainbow of colours in the logo to have a playful and child-like feel. The brand was then applied to print design and social media.
The Website & Content
Working closely with Laura we brought together several stock images that represented her brand. We also worked closely together on editing her website copy rather than having everything on the homepage we cherry-picked and deigned the website around the copy separating key elements to take the audience on a journey of learning about the benefits of mindfulness for children and booking a space on the workshop.
